The position of Fundraising/Special Events is an occasional position and may encompass many roles and duties. We have set events throughout the year as well as potential new events we may wish to attend. The duties listed below may or may not apply to all events and you may only participate in a portion of these:
Duties:
- Set up and/or tear down displays
- Sell admission tickets or raffle tickets
- Serve food
- Take tickets at door
- Obtain raffle prizes or gifts
- Gather appropriate hand outs, paperwork
- Interact with public at events and answer questions regarding Humane Society
Qualifications:
- Understand role Humane Society plays and what services are offered
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Be dependable
- Be willing to adhere to policies and procedures
Training Requirements:
- Customer Service Training
- Overview of Front Desk (read and understand Volunteer Manual)
