Spay / Neuter Programs

There are 2 Spay / Neuter programs offered by the Oconee Humane Society (OHS) that Oconee County residents can take advantage of:

  • Any pet owner can purchase a certificate for a pre-set fee for the spay / neuter procedure. The difference in cost of the procedure is paid by the Oconee Humane Society through its fundraising efforts. There are no income requirements for this program. • The Spay / Neuter Assistance Coalition (SNAC) is an income-based spay/neuter program for families in Oconee County. Administered by OHS and funded by Oconee County, this program is designed to provide pet owners up to 200% over poverty an affordable option to have their pets spayed / neutered.  Many local veterinarians have committed to participate in the SNAC program.
